About Kathryn
Executive Vice President, Home Operations – or EVPHO for short – is a blog about the trials and triumphs of an over-educated housewife who takes her career very seriously, while not taking herself too seriously.
Kathryn Rudloff holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from The Ohio State University and a Masters in Political Management from George Washington University. She spent eight years working in Republican politics in Washington DC, California and Florida. While earning her Master’s degree, she worked for two prominent Capitol Hill leadership offices, the National Republican Congressional Committee and the House Republican Conference.
She left DC to follow her passion for campaigning to California, where she was a Deputy Field Director for the California Republican Party during Arnold Schwarzenegger’s re-election campaign. She then moved to Florida, where she assisted in a local ballot measure campaign and a State House special election in April before joining the presidential campaign of Mayor Rudy Giuliani as his Florida Director of Field Operations. After Mayor Giuliani resigned from the race in early 2008, Kathryn became the Campaign manager and later District Director for Congressman Bill Posey.
In 2010, Kathryn and her husband realized something needed to change. They had been trying to conceive for about a year, and it became clear to them their busy work schedules were not helping their effort. (You do need to occasionally SEE EACH OTHER to make a baby :)) Together they decided to take a leap of faith and put their family and marriage first in all ways, and trust that God would provide. Kathryn left the job and career she loved to take on the role of Executive Vice President of Home Operations.
In 2011 they welcomed Associate P to the Rudloff Family. In order to continue building on the success of that expansion, they added a second Associate, A in 2012. Completing their long-term strategic growth plan, the Rudloff Family welcome a fifth and final member, Associate M in 2017.
Kathryn and her family attend Trinity Wellsprings Church and she is active in MOPS and The Junior League of South Brevard. Both she and her husband also volunteer with The Haven Home for Children. She is also currently serving as the part time Executive Director of Business Voice of Florida’s Space Coast PAC.
